Reading the post for the Law of 1st mention.
How many other goofy laws has Christian Man come up with in interpreting the Bible?
I've heard about the Arguing From Silence or something to that effect. Where chritsian history is silent on a certain doctrine, theologians argue whether the doctrine and experience has ceased to exist.

Also, I noticed visiting other forums and message boards, listening to christian radio and internet, reading sermons and books that Christians for the most part verbally say they adopt a certain style of interpretating scripture and then later you can catch them in the act doing something contary to what they verbally professed.

I know its human nature to pick on those different christians, those who are different from me or you, especially if they say different interpretions of doctrines.

Why is hermenuetics so hard? Why is it a can of worms?
