Big changes have been made to the forum software. First and foremost, you'll notice that there are some changes in the WYSIWYG editor - most notably, there is now the option to expand your editing window as you type as well as the ability to SPELL CHECK (for internet explorer users only). This is a feature I as well as many other people have wanted for a LONG TIME!
If you want spell checking, all you have to do is download the ieSpell plugin (http://www.iespell.com/) (don't worry, it's FREE!).
Moderators, you'll love the new features available. You can lock and unlock topics just by double clicking on the topic icon on the left. You can also change thread titles simply by double clicking next to the name on the forum listing. Basically, moderating has been integrated into the software so that you don't have to do much other than point and click. See this video on the web for a quick demonstration... http://files.vbulletin.com/3.5/ajax.html
Here's another big change for everyone. Database-based thread and forum read marking. Now you don't have to depend on cookies to see what you have and haven't read. If you haven't read something, the software will keep track of it for you. You have 10 days to read something or else the system will mark the thread "read" for you. The only bad part is right now, nothing has been marked as read for you, so you should go ahead and mark forums read immediately (http://www.predestinarian.net/forumdisplay.php?do=markread).
Another neat feature is you can edit your posts VERY quickly now without having to do a re-load. It is similar to the quick reply. Just click "edit" and you can begin to edit immediately.. :)
Have fun everyone!
