Yes, I love the pictures added for the same reasons as Nicholas.

Out of interest, I notice that picture number one is of a much younger John Piper. Does anyone know where that was taken, how old approximately he was at the time and why the cross around the neck?

The reason I ask is to find out John Piper's bible pilgrimmage; has John Piper always been a REFORMED BAPTIST?

Yes, John Piper has always been a reformed baptist as far as I know. Here is an article describing Piper in this picture in 1979...

I just listened to the discussion on Wellhausen's documentary theory. Frankly, I was expecting a discussion that was anti-intellectual or something. I was pleasantly surprised to hear a well informed and intelligent discussion of free willism, neo-orthodoxy, etc. I especially liked the point Bob made that free willism logically leads to skeptism. So does moralism in my opinion. It's just a matter of time. I am assuming this is Bob Higby in the audio?

Charlie, Correct - this is Bob Higby leading the teaching. - B.
