Well I didn't want to post in the actual forum as this is more just some silly little comment. But I was looking over the forums and noticed one called this " Forum: New Testament Studies Discussions regarding NT passages or issues impacting the predestinarian view of the gospel." That sounds interesting to me.. I was curious is that a place where we can discuss new testament books we read? as long as it is enlight of the Gospel? Because not necessarily a "bible ...
Luke 6:43-45 "For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. For each tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart." The world is caught ...

Ps 37:28, (NASB), For the Lord loves justice And does not forsake His godly ones; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off. Mic 7:18, (NASB), Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love. Zeph 3:17, (NASB), "The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you ...
I thought I would share some thoughts from a book I read recently called Messy Spirituality, I may have shared some of this before since I've had this book for awhile. But it was what started me down the path of understanding how depraved I am without Christ. Most religions these days strive for perfection, even some reformed churches strive to be perfect. They concentrate more on the doing than on God being with them and in them. We should be resting in Christ who is the Sabbath rather than worrying ...

Hi! I've been reading this book called Trust, a godly womens adornment by Lydia Brownback, I find much of it to be very edifying and challenging me to trust in the Lord more. I wanted to share one or two of the short devotionals in it with you all, because I just thought it was so amazing. Hopefully wont take long to type out... lol Its amazing, and what is said really makes me think about my own motives, and thoughts, and how I can better trust the Lord and His loving kindness towards me in ALL ...

hahaha I first wrote alot but then realized it was more for me, dont think my blog should be my diary! lol But in all my thoughts Im reminded of this one important verse of God: Mt 16:24, (NASB), Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. To deny oneself and take up their cross. Its so powerful but so true. Seems ever since coming to the Gospel truth I've wanted to have things my ...
So tonight I thought I would focus on hope. As I was reading through the Bible I noticed two things about hope. Hope in our daily lives that things will get better, and hope in the gospel. The first I want to think upon is Hope of salvation. I'll be honest when times are hard, and Im faced with lots of trials its hard to find hope. Just seems like one bad thing after another.. as I know from talking to friends that is how they feel at times too. But what happens is I forget the hope ...

Isa 64:1-12, (NASB) 1Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, That the mountains might quake at Your presence2As fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil To make Your name known to Your adversaries, That the nations may tremble at Your presence!3When You did awesome things which we did not expect, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence.4For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor ...
Isaiah 54:19,10,16,17 9"For this is like the days of Noah to Me, When I swore that the waters of Noah Would not flood the earth again; So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you Nor will I rebuke you. 10 "For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken," Says the Lord who has compassion on you. 16 "Behold, I Myself have created the smith who ...
