Refiner's Fire

I dont know why but I got up in the middle of the night just to think about our Lord. I started randomly just reading about Him, thinking about what the Lord requires of us. If He requires anything at all. Mostly I hear of just resting in Him and in His Truths. So often in society we have a go go mentality or do this or that, but the Lord doesn't require us to do so much but to rest in His Word... I often forget that Truth, and think Im such a bad daughter of His because I dont do much for Him right ...

God’s Word uses analogies a lot to explain what its like to be a part of God’s family, it uses words such as sheep, goats, and wolves. God makes a distinction between sheep and the goats/wolves. This book is pretty neat! There's some things I've read that dont agree with, at one pt author seemed to make a distinction between the heart and head, I dont see a difference. But one thing I thought interesting was what Jesus said to the theif on the cross who was elect and believed that day. Just how that theif was a believer, and the Gospel he believed.

Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

I just wanted to remember the wonderful things about him. The times he helped me out, the passion he had for God.. especially reading about Vincent Cheung. I bought his books, some good stuff there. The times we'd share on the phone.. in laughter, love and tears. These last months were hard for him.. but I first met him back in March of 2006. That summer was the best years of my life.
