Refiner's Fire

Isaiah 54:19,10,16,17

9"For this is like the days of Noah to Me, When I swore that the waters of Noah Would not flood the earth again; So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you Nor will I rebuke you. 10 "For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken," Says the Lord who has compassion on you.
16 "Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals And brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin. 17 "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me," declares the Lord.


Awe the beauty of Gods Word again! Wildboar has talked about how Gods children can loose their salvation. I think that is so ridiculous for our salvation is not dependent upon anything we do, or our faith, beliefs, etc. It has everything to do with Christ dieing only for His people, about God's loving kindness towards His people, has everything to do with THEIR relationship with us rather than what we do. If Christ died for us, if God loves us, then we are His and nothing can change that not even us falling away.



From the beginning of time we were declared Gods children, we were elected to be in Heaven with Him and thru the death of His Son this would happen. Our salvation has everything to do with Gods decree to save us by the death of His Son way before the world began, and on that day at the cross salvation was given to us, it was a sealed deal. Nothing can take that away from us. Once Gods children always Gods children. You cant change your identity or who you are. You cant say God I dont want to be your child! And then God says okay your not.



No we were made children of God and thus we shall always be children of God. God says in Isaiah that His lovingkindess will not be removed from us. No matter what we do God ALWAYS loves us. God loves His children and He hates those who are not His people. And we are His children because God MADE us His children, it has absolutely nothing to do with what we believe or deny. Therefore we cannot fall away from salvation or become unchildren... we were born His children we shall stay His children. And no matter what we do God will ALWAYS love us.


Again here we see the Lord having compassion on us. What a blessed Truth. I am the chief of sinners, just like Paul said.. we screw up and yet God has compassion on us, He loves us. I could be the worst sinner ever and yet God would still love me. Amazing.. amazing grace and love that is. And you know what? The religious world would have us not believe that Truth. They have us believe that the more we sin the more God doesn't love us. How sad is that??!!!


Oh another amazing Truth! God has created the destroyer, the smith who blows the fire of coals. Here it is saying that God has created those who are not His children, those who are evil. He also created the destroyer to ruin. Interesting.. ya know many would say that God doesn't cause all things to happen. But here He just said that he has created the destroyer to ruin. The purpose of evil people or Satan is to ruin things.. to cause destruction to happen. So here we see that God has created all things bad and good.


And lastly our vindication is from the Lord, evil shall not prosper. No weapon against us will destroy us, for we are kept His.. precious in His sight. We have eternal life in Christ because we are His children from the beginning of the world and nothing can seperate us from His love. He will not remove his loving kindness from us. All the days of our lives no matter what we say or do, he shall love His children.
