Share the Wealth

I came across this article today and wanted to share it. http://www.newswithviews.com/Wooldridge/frosty411.htm

The best part of the article is when the author describes this event that he found on another blog. I cracked up.

"He will shove Marx’s ideas onto hard working American citizens. It’s going to look like this example from an unknown Internet blog:

“Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed.

“Once in the restaurant my server wore an "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.

“When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

“I went outside, gave the homeless guy $5 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

“At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient needed money more.

“I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.”

My son recently encountered a huge Obama supporter at his college who asked for part of his candy bar with the assertion: "Time to share, Obama time!"

I agree that Obama is a Marxist. I also believe that all of the Democratic candidates for President since Roosevelt were and are Marxists. What Communist Russia and China became was not Marxism but pure Fascism (government control of the means of production). They ended up with dictators--a concept foreign to what Marx claimed would be the result of his 'compassionate' sharing of wealth. That is where ALL totalitarian philosophies of government end up; it doesn't matter whether they are Marxist, 'socialist', monarchist, or Islamic.

I believe that McCain is in real trouble in this election. Only God can save his campaign and based on past history, God probably will not. McCain, instead of focusing on the absolute lying and untrustworthiness of his opponent, has himself proposed various socialist solutions to America's problems (the 'sellout' (bailout) & buyout of mortgages is the best example). He has also stated that we have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency. He is deceiving himself and others if he thinks that such positions will set himself apart from Obama; they will utterly destroy his campaign.

Unlike others, I do not believe that the election of Obama is the end of America or the constitution. I am fully aware that the pompous, insolent, socialist ass has asserted that the Constitution is a 'charter of negative rights' and this shows his UTTER and TOTAL contempt for the constitution. He would overthrow it if only he could. But he is only like McGovern, Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton, and Kerry before him in this regard. All of them thought that the real purpose of the constitution SHOULD HAVE been the assertion of what government MUST DO for all persons, NOT the glorious (in my view) assertion of what government CANNOT DO TO YOU! In my view, the assertion in the US constitution of what government cannot do to you is the most POSITIVE development in human statesmanship in all of history!

God will destroy Obama in the end. He only raised him up to bring him down to hell.

Man I hope McCain will win, but I have a feeling from all the polls and what people say thats its going to be Obama. He plays off peoples emotions, he makes it all "sound" good. But ya know in the end its not going to be that way... people aren't just going to get a 1,000 dollars for their families right away. Or tax cuts, or not taxes paid for seniors, or etc. I just hope people see through the fakeness of Obama... that they see what his past was like. Ya know he's going to send our troops home right away, just screwing up all the efforts we did in Iraq. He also seemed to somehow be related to Muslim religion as well, tho he denies it. And many other allegations of him making deals with terrorist harboring nations. I really dont like this guy at all, to be honest I would have rathered Hillary Clinton been running than Obama. I really hope and pray its not him.

For me, contrary to everything that the media says and the high voter turnout, this is the least significant Presidential election since Nixon/McGovern in 1972. I know that my point of view is the flip side of the prevailing shout at the current time, but believe me, it has a historical basis. I'll explain after the election.

Btw--My comment does not apply to the Prop 8 resolution in California; that one is a truly historic vote that will have ramifications for decades to come.
