First, anyone ever notice how news anchors all speak the same? While reporting the news they speak with a robotic, monotone, rhythm. Especially those in the field...they end it with something like, "This is Donna Faducia, Fox neeeeeewwwwss", or something to that effect. Are they taught this at journalism school? BBC reporters are the same, so it crosses the pond.

Second, commercials. Whether on the radio or on TV they are so condescending. Of course these marketing experts are praying on the impulses of all of us, but who told them it would be smart to talk to everyone like they are stupid? Turn the TV on and watch a few commercials...they think you are so stupid. It's so funny and insulting.
