The Grace of God experienced through the Word of God

Just thinking about our walk with God, that it is by faith and not by sight. None of us know all that there is to know about God, yet He will reveal all to us when we meet with Him face to face. Yet we are spiritual houses made fit for the Master's use.

I thank God for the verse in Colossians that tells us, Christ in me, the hope of Glory. Christ lives on the inside of us. It is hardly surprising that the world hates us, when the Lord Jesus was hated. If Christ lives in you, you will be hated by this world. When you have been with Jesus, you are a savour to all around you. Either a savour of life unto life, or a savour of death unto death.

God's grace is abundant to all His dear children. We are safe in the everlasting arms of Jesus. He tells us in Mt 24:35, (KJV), Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. So we can hang on every word of God. Hallelujah! So this means that although things may seem to be going wrong, yet the Lord God knows it all, and the Lord God has all things under control. As God's grace is available to His children, we know that the words of God can be trusted, and that we can stake our whole lives on them. God is immovable.

God enables us by grace to remain at peace while the world around us is in anything but peace, still under the full control of God.

How these truths open us up to the reality that God can be leaned upon, with all our weight, and He will remain faithful every single time. There is no God like our God. He is highly exalted in heaven.

Let us worship Him with joy in our hearts knowing that He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Alpha and The Omega, The First and The Last.
