A very smart person (who knows what he's doing in his lies) seeking out the allegiance of blithering idiots to fatten his own purse and control minds. Hey, what he is doing reminds me vividly of what the leaders of churchianity are doing! I don't buy for a second that most politicians and religionists are ignorant of their objectives. Once success is achieved in persuading a large number to believe a point of dogma that is stupid idiocy, the power of mind control has no limits beyond that. In the case of religion--mix in gospel language that sounds like the true gospel and you have a formula for success that defies anything that could possibly be accomplished in the political realm!
Yup!
What an idiot!
Pigs eat junk kinda like the people that take in junk by listening to the gospel of Osteen. I eat pork and other foods that help my cholesterol. The last time that I got my cholesterol checked, it was 135.
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. Isa. 66:17 The church I was raised in spared no words in proclaiming God's wrath to be poured out upon pig eaters at Christ's coming!

Rom 14:14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Rom 14:20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. Rom 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. What would they say about these verses?
There are a whole lot more than this. Such persons care only about the Old Testament, so it is useless to even reason based on the New. If we are talking pure exegesis, Isaiah is referring to some type of heathen idolatrous worship and God's ultimate judgment upon such. The eating of pork and rats within such worship is incidental to the main point and has significance only to those living under the Mosaic covenant.
Amen Bob - Amen.
