Recently I have read a few comedians and media personalities asking "why the media made so much fun of Bush's bushisms, even today, after he's been out of office for one year, whereas ignoring Obama's gaffes, which by now are plentiful and constant?


I always wondered about that ant thought to myself that the liberal media would not criticize its own "guy". They helped him be where he is and criticizing him, or making fun of his gaffes would be an admission of a stupid mistake on their part. Then I began to wonder if the reason behind their ignoring of Obama's really serious blunders was due to something that George Bush himself, during a speech on his first term, called "The racism of lower expectations". What is "racism of lower expectation?"


This type of aggressive type of racism is when a person does have expectations about the other person, especially if that person belongs to another ethnic group, but such expectations are so low that the other person is only worthy of pity and condescension. When I heart Chris Matthews from MSBC say that ...he almost forgot he (Obama) was black..." I said, that's it! I got it! It is indeed racism of lower expectations that prevents these people from criticizing and making fun of the Obama-isms!

First, let's see some of the recent Obama-isms:

• He missed the White House door for a window. Well, it was nice and dandy when Bush missed the exit door in a speech in China in front of the dignitaries. But China is a foreign country, far away, unfamiliar to anyone, including the President. The fact that he is the President and knows foreign affairs and has advisers for such, does not make any country or any country environment familiar to him. Although it is funny that a President misses a door in a foreign country in front of the international media cameras, it is not far fetched to infer that this mistake can be expected from anyone, including the President of the United States! We make mistakes often when we are in an unfamiliar territory! However, OBAMA missed the door of the White House, and confused it with a WINDOW, in his own country, in his own house, the one he wanted to live in, the one whose picture he had seen many times on TV, and the fact that it was in the USA makes it even more funny and ridiculous than G.W. missing an exit door in China. Well, we heard VERY LITTLE jokes about that and it seems that everyone overlooked it in the liberal media.
• He offered a man who is legally blind, the Prime Minister of England, a DVD Collection! Well, again, when G.W. waved at Steve Wonders, it was no wonder and one wonders why he was so absent minded that he waved to a BLIND MAN. That's worthy a joke or two. Fine! But why the same level of ridicule is not offered to OBAMA when he offers something to be seen to a man who cannot legally see?
• I will skip his giving of an IPod to the Queen of England, and just jump to the recent "Corpsman" statement. He repeated CORPSMAN three times during a speech! It was funny when Bush would mispronounce so many words! But the liberal media, who showed unmitigated hatred for people who have a speech impediment, such as Bush, who makes fun of people who pronounce nulular rather than "nuclear", was silent in pointing out such a OBAMA-ISM...

Why? Why did the media chose to clam up about such OBAMA-ISMS. Where they not funny Of course they were!


Before I answer this question, let me go back to Chris Matthews statement that "...he almost forgot that, he (OBAMA) was black... and challenge anyone to draw a logical conclusion of that other than the fact that he, Chris Matthews, always had in mind, up to that moment that he almost forgot, that he (Obama) was black? Yes! He NEVER FORGOT that Obama was black.


Now the answer to the question in context: The liberal media accuse the Conservative of being racist. You hear some of what they say about Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and others and you will have no doubt that they base all their world view within the "racial" perspective. Everything for them is about "race", "gender", "age" etc. They see groups and can't seem to understand the WHOLE! Since our President happens to be a black man, and they have lower expectation of black man, they will not criticize or make fun of a black man when "he is acting black... and I always had in mind, only now forgot... that he is black, which is what Matthews said without saying! To them, black people will be always walking with a sway in their bodies, will be absent minded and will most certainly miss the door of their own homes... To them black people will always be uncouth not even knowing how to give a man a gift, especially, as the Prime Minister of England did, a man who will go out of his way to give you a piece of decoration that matches your desk, a gift that took research and finesse to be given to you. In trade, this fine gentleman who is legally blind, received a collection of DVDs. Also, black people, to them, (check the statement of Reed) will always speak with a dialect and will most certainly mispronounce common and known words. So, since the Commander in Chief of our military is now a black man, we can expect him to say "CORPSMAN", instead of using the word that the Military use to identify such great servants...


There it is: Since they see all in groups and ethnicity is a group; since they expect that some groups will act one way or another distinguishing them from other groups (otherwise they would not be a group), then, the liberal media expects that OBAMA will practice OBAMA-isms for all the reasons they would expect such things from black men! That is RACISM OF LOWER EXPECTATIONS!


Of course they will deny it! The liberal media will never accept that they do practice this terrible, destructive, despicable and aggressive kind of racism, but that is exactly what they do! Whereas they do not accept to be frequent practitioners of this kind of racism, they will call racist the people who will not see the world in groups, people who expect high things from others regardless of who they are, people who want the progress and advancement of everyone with no regards to the group they belong, to wit, THE CONSERVATIVE!


It is time that the liberal media check themselves into a rehab center, to recuperate from such an vicious and blatant form of racism! It is time that Sharpton, Jackson and others who live off decrying racism where there is none and from whom there is none, would scold the liberal media for being such RACISTS!
