This bill in a modified form is now before the U.S. Senate. Don't be deceived by the Amendments claiming to exempt small producers; a lot of them are going to be left hanging out to dry. We should all be outraged by greater FDA power to regulate the food supply and who can sell, who can't. There are totalitarian Republican and Democrat Fascists in the U.S. government with their own power agenda in all such bills. So many Republicans are voting for this it is obvious to me that the last election changed nothing in their thinking.

    I agree Bob, it's all going to wind down to a grinding halt no matter who holds the reigns. The idiots don't seem to realize that they doom their own progeny as well as the rest of us with such foolhardy gains.

    I think if we could institute a consumption tax and do away with all other taxes, build walls on each border, and have 2 term limits for the senate and house, would be a good way to nip many if not most of our problems in the bud.

    Also, maybe public hangings for those sworn to uphold the constitution and don't, wouldn't be a bad start either.

    Public Hangings... Hmm..

    Yeah, that is something that people may want "IF" and/or "WHEN" (and that may be a big IF) the Fed is ever audited....OOPS! ..did I say that?

    Government policies that destroy the honest living of decent citizens, forbidding them to sell and others to buy their products, are the heart and soul of the beast. The spirit behind such political laws is the same spirit that leads mankind ultimately to murder those who will not conform to the mindset of totalitarian government control.

    The Senate passed this most awful destruction of our liberties on Tuesday. All Democrats and 15 Republicans voted in favor; 2 Repubs (Bond--MO and Brownback--KS) did not vote. Though this type of totalitarian fascism is business as usual for the Democrats, here are the 15 Republicans who have betrayed our most fundamental liberties:
