"Now grace in the heart of one child of God will ever unite with grace in the heart of another. If there be jars and divisions, if there be dispute and contention in churches and among individuals, let not these be fathered on religion. It is not grace but lack of it that gives them birth and maintains them in being. So far as grace rules and reigns, so far as the life of God is made manifest in the conscience, there is a blessed bond of union among the family of God. This bond of union may indeed lie very deep or be much hidden and covered—the brook of love that once flowed strong and clear may be diminished to a trickling rill—circumstances may separate the chief friends—ministers may be divided, churches split, congregations dispersed, the dearest ties severed—because iniquity abounds the love of many may wax cold. But love itself can never die, for life and love are so one that love can only die with life, and life the with love." -J.C. Philpot

That global warming picture is hilarious!

I do not have four wheel drive, but I did make it home from work. That picture was taken when I got home. My car was still a couple feet from the curb due to the snow. I could not get it any closer.

Hi Brandan! I just wanted to say hello and let you know how grateful I am that we are friends in Christ. I really appreciate all your work here on the forum and you've taught me so much over the years. How are the Cardinals doing this year? My dad follows the Dodgers and he is quiet happy at their success! Ive enjoyed being more active lately on the forum too its nice to be able to be in contact more with people, for awhile I felt so alone separate from alot of my brothers and sisters in Christ. This forum is such a blessing for communicating with those in the Lord. Hope you have a great day and God bless you!

Brandan: a suggestion for a profile question: Do you believe that the Holy Spirit Baptism is a "second blessing" (alternative wording: is a blessing subsequent to Salvation). I want to know when someone is a "looney" pentecostal before I discuss with them based upon my experience with Craig.

Biography
What I love: I love my Family, and I love the TRUTH. I love the fact that I grew up in small town Potosi rather than the big city. What I like to do: I love to spend time with my family. In particular, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and dog on the current river in Van Buren. We own riverfront property where we spend a lot of time in the summer. We also have a boat that we use A LOT! Politics: I'm a right wing nut job! All kidding aside, I am very conservative with a libertarian slant. I always vote straight ticket republican. Theology: I believe that salvation is entirely comprised of FREE and SOVEREIGN GRACE and has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO with the person who is being saved. All conditions for salvation are based upon CHRIST, and not the person being saved. I do not believe in FREE WILL. I also believe that EVERY SINGLE THING is positively predestined and determined from eternity. NOTHING happens that God did not plan out in complete intricate detail. What this means is even SIN and EVIL events in this fallen world were PLANNED BY GOD for His Sovereign Purpose. I run a website devoted to the study of predestinarian theology: http://www.predestinarian.net
Religion / Church Affiliation
Super High Grace Predestinarian : Supreme - Sovereign - Absolutely Free - Pristine - Unadulterated - Incorruptible GRACE

Ditch the Garbage! - Too many people are proud of their humility - I, on the other hand, am not humble - and am proud of it!

"Luther's New Testament was so much multiplied and spread by printers that even tailors and shoemakers, yea, even women and ignorant persons who had accepted this new Lutheran gospel, and could read a little German, studied it with the greatest avidity as the fountain of all truth. Some committed it to memory, and carried it about in their bosom. In a few months such people deemed themselves so learned that they were not ashamed to dispute about faith and the gospel not only with Catholic laymen, but even with priests and monks and doctors of divinity." - A complaint by German humanist Johann Cochlaeus.

Response to Monty Collier's Slander

by Brandan Kraft on 05-09-2011 at 12:36 PM
I am preparing a long detailed response to Monty Colier's slander of me on youtube. His video has been transcribed, and I will deal with this once and for all. If you search "Brandan Kraft" on the internet, his video is the first hit.

Here is the transcription of Monty's video:

Gordon Clark vs. the Bogeyman - by John Robbins

by Brandan Kraft on 04-28-2011 at 12:06 PM
Recently The Banner of Truth published two essays linking the names of Robert Sandeman, the 18th-century Scots preacher, and Gordon Clark, the 20th-century American theologian and philosopher. This is most unfortunate, for several reasons.

First, neither author of these essays, Douglas Barnes and Geoff Thomas, is qualified to make this comparison. At the time of their writing, neither had read the relevant works of Robert Sandeman, and one of them had not even read Gordon

As you probably know, the world has gone mobile in the last few years. Well, vBulletin (the makers of this software) realizes this and are now providing a nice software client that we can install on our mobile phones. This is a

Do You Rejoice In God's Sovereignty?

by Brandan Kraft on 03-29-2010 at 11:21 AM
"If I admit that God's Will regulates the great movements of the universe I must admit that it equally regulates the small. It must do this, for the great depend upon the small. The minutest movement of my will is regulated by the will of God. And in this I rejoice. Woe is me if it be not so. If I shrink from so unlimited control and guidance, it is plain that I dislike the idea of being wholly at the disposal of God. I am wishing to be in part at my own disposal. I am ambitious of regulating
