Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
  2. Robert R. Higby
Thanks Mary! Ruth and I have been in California since the beginning of March and are just now in process of finishing a deal on a home. It has been a long and difficult process to obtain one; the real estate market here is almost all bank-owned and short sales at the current time.

    Will write soon! --Bob

Hi Bob! Its been awhile since I said hi to you and your family. How is Ruth doing? I miss you all so much, I was just thinking about the conferences the other day and looking through my pictures. I had so much fun going to the St Louis botanical gardens! You're all now in California huh? I have some friends down there maybe someday I can visit. How are things going? Thanks for all your contributions and I very much enjoy learning from you. You've always been such a great brother and friend to me over the years. I very much thank you and respect you for that, and hope that God blesses you much. Take care and God loves you!

Wow that is cool! I hope you are enjoying your Asia vacation! Thanks for keeping us updated on where you are at. That sounds like so much fun, I love traveling! My parents went to China once, and my dad I think visited some places when he was in the Vietnam War. My brother went to Europe, I hope to travel there someday. I've been to Guatemala on a missions trip, mostly just to help teach in a small school of girls. Hopefully you're learning lots and experiencing new things, and taking some wonderful pictures. Cant wait to hear more later! Take care and be safe.

Thanks Avda'. I have more to post from SE Brazil that I haven't put up yet--plus some from the rest of Argentina and a few from Uruguay. I would like to get to the other part of the country that you mention (Natal, etc.)--my wife has already been there.

    Hello, Mr. Higby.

    Very nice pictures of Iguaçu.

Next time you come to Brazil, please visit yhe Northeastern states. You'll see another tipe of beauty. (A different weather [much hotter] and lots of sand, beaches, smells, juices, tastes and an almost untouched nature).

I'm a southeastern Brazilian (you stopped by my state - São Paulo), and your pictures just remebered me how variated our landscapes are.

    Thanks for posting them.
  15. Brandan Kraft
Awesome pictures - I loved them!

In the New Testament we receive four Gospels, with the Acts of the Apostles, and fourteen Epistles of St. Paul, and seven Catholic Epistles, together with the Apocalypse; although we do not compare the Apocalypse, the Epistles of James, and Jude, and 2 Peter and 2 and 3 John with the rest.

The Worthless Principle of Pilate

by Robert R. Higby on 03-21-2010 at 03:56 PM

And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. John 19:19-22

President Obama Supported Christian-hating Radical Islam in Kenya

by Robert R. Higby on 02-14-2010 at 04:07 PM
This story is a little old; I had not researched this before:

I think this sheds light on the fact that Obama does not recognize that radical Islam exists or cannot be negotiated with. Comments?

The Next Supreme Court Showdown

by Robert R. Higby on 01-13-2010 at 09:03 AM
As I stated about a year and a half ago, the situation with the voter ban on same-sex marriages in California will become the next huge U.S. Supreme Court showdown. Right along the lines of what happened with Roe vs. Wade.
