My wife was not churched growing up. Her sister is autistic and has down's syndrome so they stopped attending on Sundays because she was too loud to have in the service and the nursery wasn't trained to handle a special needs kid. This actually is a blessing on many fronts. My wife had to take care of her sister a lot as a kid so she grew up fast and it kept her from being brainwashed by churchianity. Shes very smart (a finance grad) and logical (accept when we argue!) so predestinarian doctrine makes sense to her but she wants to study it for herself. I think it's somewhat intimidating to her because shes sees how much study I've done.

Haha, I appreciate that! Lets see...I met my wife at my brother's wedding. She was the maid of honor and I was the best man. We had a long distance relationship for 6 months then I moved to Oregon. I decided to plumb instead of work on Heavy equipment because of pay. I proposed after a year, we had a year long engagement and now we live in Wilsonville Oregon.

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, BUT The Father's Who sent Me.
