    Dear Mary,
We certainly do owe our Life to Christ, for only He has sovereignly elected us, and we are the sheep of His pasture.
Lovely to meet you and to know you as a sister in Christ.
    Love English Rose

    Hey Mary,

Thanks for you comments. I am also glad that there are people that will stand up for truth and for there rights as Americans. I also know that my citizenship is in Heaven, but I don't think that it means that I should sit back and not say anything when I see our rights as American being stripped away from us piece by piece.

WOO HOO................Happy Birthday Mary!! I think I can remember when I was 27, well maybe some of it anyway. I hope your day is blessed sweet girlie. I'm sorry that I haven't written lately but your emails to me were wonderfully encouraging during this stressful time in my life. Thank you so much! Cake and ice cream?

Dear sister in Christ, Sorry I have not been active in the group - a lot has happened this last year, loads of trials and heartaches, but by the grace and mercy of God, still here. Hope you are finding really good fellowship, because I remember you were so lonely. I am, too, but sadly due to illness and weakness, not much capacity to take part. I like your photo - may God richly bless you dear. Love in Christ from English Rose

Hi Mary--got your msg on my profile page. It's good to hear from you! Let's keep each other in prayer, since we know we both struggle with that issue of wanting to run away from God instead of to Him when things get hard. It was actually quite encouraging for me to read your blog, because I was reminded that I'm not the only sheep with a tendency to wander off! Have you ever read "A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23"? Some of the theology in that book is wrong, but I found it to be a super encouraging insight into our nature as sheep and the loving care of our Shepherd. I'm going to read it again. Hope you're finding that desire coming back.

I greatly enjoyed our visit, hope we can do that again soon. We will have to try the voice and web cam too, I'm a bit shy on that one... Have a good week and I will pray for you tomorrow as you start physical therapy. Let me know how it goes.

Christ Dying for The Sheep Alone

by MCoving on 06-12-2011 at 05:37 AM
Here is an old article I wrote a long time ago, I was just re-reading some of my saved documents. Im sure its on PNet some place but I thought Id share it again:

The Great Shepherd and His Sheep

God’s Word uses analogies a lot to explain what its like to be a part of God’s family, it uses words such as sheep, goats, and wolves. God makes a distinction between sheep and the goats/wolves. Knowing and understanding His Word when it comes to this will help one to know

The Mouth Speaks What Is In Your Heart

by MCoving on 05-16-2010 at 03:04 AM
Luke 6:43-45
"For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. For each tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart."

Gods Presence in Our Messed Up Lives

by MCoving on 06-03-2009 at 02:58 AM
I thought I would share some thoughts from a book I read recently called Messy Spirituality, I may have shared some of this before since I've had this book for awhile. But it was what started me down the path of understanding how depraved I am without Christ. Most religions these days strive for perfection, even some reformed churches strive to be perfect. They concentrate more on the doing than on God being with them and in them. We should be resting in Christ who is the Sabbath rather than worrying
