Howdy; I have read some of your posts on Carm too and I thought them very edifying also. In regards to occasionalism, I'm not too well read on what the worldly philosophers have said about it or their theories. I've read Cheung on it (which is where I first heard of it) and have since come to agree that God must continually move to edify His elect as Scripture teaches. I think Gordon Clark has some things to say about it, but I can't remember the books (I've read Saving Faith and Predestination by him) and maybe Hoeksma's Reformed Dogmatics touches on it a little (it's been awhile). I'll try to look around as see if I can't come up with something more definite.

Thanks Joseph! And don't hesitate to post and contribute.. I try not to bite! Feel free to create threads and ask questions if you are seeking clarification or even criticism. We are all growing in knowledge of His grace and want to learn together with others no matter where they are in their walk with the Lord.

Hey, I saw you reading my EMBARRASSING thread on faith vs. works. Obviously there is stuff I would not agree with today! But I leave it on the forum to demonstrate the GRACE by which God brings His people from error. Thanks for reading - I would appreciate if you could post sometime. Thanks - Brandan
