Brought up Seventh day Adventist, was a Mormon for a few years, then into the occult/white magic. God rescued me in 1988. I was baptised by immersion in October 1988 into the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Since then reading the scriptures, the words and direction have come alive in my heart and thoughts, and the grace generously given to me abounds :-)
As a young girl playing tops with my older cousins in Holland, one of my cousins didn't want to play with me and my make-shift top (made out of an empty spool of thread with a nail spiked through it, lol) against their fancy store-purchased and "authentic" tops...so they said let's let her play for "spek 'n bonen" Dutch: translated: bacon and beans, which means "her actions don't count"...

Reminder to me:
Keep one thing forever in view, the truth, and if you do this, though it may seem to lead you away from the opinions of men, it will assuredly conduct you to the throne of God.
