Who will we see in Heaven?

A few years ago, a friend of mine ask our bible class a interesting question.

When we get to heaven, who will we see, Jesus, the Father or the Holy Spirit? If they are one God, his point is we will only see Jesus, not the Father or Holy Spirit? So if you die today or tonight, who would you see first or only?

Another question, when Jesus prayed in the Gospels, where was the Father and Holy Spirit located?

These above questions came from my friend Micah, he grew up in Oneness Pentecostal and left that denomination to a more conservative evangelical church a few years ago, but these questions still lingered in his mind and mine too.
    Grace and Peace to you,

At the incarnation, the Son took on not only a human body but a human soul as well. When Jesus prayed, he prayed to the Triune God. As Jesus walked this earth in His human nature he was eternally in the bosom of the Father in regards to His divine nature.

    Notice what Jesus says here:

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Jesus while walking the earth spoke of the Son as being in Heaven.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

In regards to His divine nature, the Son's will was always the same as the Father's. But in regards to His human nature it was not, but He was always submissive which is why He could say "not my will but thine be done."

When we get to heaven we shall behold the Triune God in Christ.

For whatever strength of arm he may have who swims in the open sea, yet in time he is carried away and sunk, mastered by the greatness of its waves. Need then there is that we be in the ship, that is, that we be carried in the wood, that we may be able to cross this sea. Now this Wood in which our weakness is carried is the Cross of the Lord, by which we are signed, and delivered from the dangerous tempests of this world.--St. Augustine
