Before you go around saying that Harold Camping is "refuted"...we know nothing of this "speaker" or his "church" or what he believes.

Who is the speaker?


Satan always comes as an angel of light.

This person claims to love "Christ's" Church in the first sentence. What he means is "ORGANIZED CHURCH" as he defines it.

That is heresy. Most of the "Organized Churches" down through history have been APOSTATE.

So...why listen further?

It does not follow from the fact that most organized churches through history have been apostate, the idea of an organized church is apostate. Christ set up an organized church and through the apostles continued that organization and while it is true that most organized churches throughout history have been and are apostate, it is also true that ALL disorganized churches are apostate.

Camping's allegorical method of interpretation leads him to believe such things as that Paul's shipwreck refers to the destruction of the church. No sane person reading that passage would gather that. If such a method of interpretation is followed, there is absolutely no end to the number of possible interpretations. Camping was shown to be a false prophet in 1994 when Christ did not return and he continues unrepentant. Despite the humility with which he appears in person and on the radio, he has placed his faith in his own bizarre interpretations of Scripture and ignored all correction.

I have not listened to the mp3 file John has posted and have no knowledge as to the truth of what was said or not said on it. I am merely responding to what has been posted.
