Ditch the Garbage! - Too many people are proud of their humility - I, on the other hand, am not humble - and am proud of it!
"Luther's New Testament was so much multiplied and spread by printers that even tailors and shoemakers, yea, even women and ignorant persons who had accepted this new Lutheran gospel, and could read a little German, studied it with the greatest avidity as the fountain of all truth. Some committed it to memory, and carried it about in their bosom. In a few months such people deemed themselves so learned that they were not ashamed to dispute about faith and the gospel not only with Catholic laymen, but even with priests and monks and doctors of divinity." - A complaint by German humanist Johann Cochlaeus.

Thanks to Brandan for all his work on the computer system or whatever it's called!.......KK
I forget. Not being an avid soccer fan, for what does one receive the noble yellow card. Could one not get a green card for being on the forum for x-amount of posts. What about a descending meritorial role, from god - cursed, and everything inbetween. You know one starts off with a golden crown and it eventually changes to a crown of thorns. Dependant ofcourse on a combination of the amount of infractions, report cards, and judgements, over against the total number of excellent posts. Bad points, verses good points.
Or what of starting one off at a total negative. Like rotten to the core, and a graphic of a munched apple, developing slowly as per various icons of spiritual maturity. I am beginning to sound like the leader of secret society...urhmm..Not freemasons.... Yes, I fear we shall all be subject to the grudge....or grinch, or brunch...off to tea, peace, Katoikei
Please forget my previous silly post, I was just exploring the negative side to the blue scale. I just used it and it saves on having to say, 'Excellent, or brilliant, or magnificent, or Praise God that was stupendous, in threads', and giving a brother or sister a boost. Excellent, I love the little blue scale...
Praise God.
Hello Kato!
In Soccer yellow card is "the next infraction you're out"...
Two yellows gives a red.
A red is expulsion! You have to leave the field to the showers; you can't even sit in the substitution bench and cannot be replaced in the field; your team plays with one man short!
There is also a straight red where the infraction is so grave that the referee prefers just to give a straight expulsion.
The cards system was invented for the same reason Brandan, I believe, placed in the forum: It accomplishes the message without so many words! In Soccer was because of language barriors and arguments with the ref. Here, it will REALLY save a lot of unecessary rebukes and rebuttals!
Funny how, as in Soccer, something so simple can accomplish so much!
Now, if you don't like Soccer, in four years you will have to leave South Africa... I heard that in 2010 South Africa will host the World Cup!

Oh I love soccer. But not watching it. Playing it. I played it and loved it very much, the same with rugby, but it frustrates me to watch. I want to get in there and play. I was a sports maniac in my school days.
Yeah, they are doing a lot to prepare for the big event. Who knows maybe I will break my curfew and go and watch some of the games.

Praise God you lifted my red blue. You are right this is actually quite fun. I know that not many hear like James, but he said something so profound. (James 1:2-4)
