WHAT IS THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION?

Many people have specualted in the past as to what this is, i believe that Tony Warren has done a marvelous job in comparing scripture with scripture and showing very accurately what this is.

Re: What Is The Abomination Of Desolation?

We might ask which abomination of desolation is being referred to: that of Daniel 7, 8, or 9 which are all different entities! All of them culminate in what Paul terms the antichrist, man of sin, or great apostasy.

The one referred to by Christ in the Olivet Discourse is that prophesied in Dan. 9 in direct connection with the judgment of God on Jerusalem; this is why He stated "let the reader understand." There are many antichrists.
Now see here how sleepy-headed all our opponents are, and how little it helps a man to rely on the ancient fathers, for all their repute down the course of the ages! Were they not all equally blind to, yes, and heeldess of, Paul's clearest and and plainest words?
