It's amazing ability and design is also it's weakness ironically enough. That's the problem with being a mechanical quadruped - you need all "fours" to function, and lack the intelligence to adapt to having less legs.

It uses accelerometers to gauge the bodies movement, and make adjustments in its legs to compensate. Thats 250 pounds dancing on ice BTW. Whats strange about it is how well they are able to simulate the motion of the legs of living creatures. How do you stop one of these?

What will they think of next? Amazing invention. However, since this is funded by "taxpayers", wouldn't be wise for our government to get out of debt first, before spending and creating more debt for current and future taxpayers?
Does anyone on this forum spend money they don't have? Credit spending is not capital. It is debt spending. Try debt spending for a few years and then lose the means to pay it back. See what happens!
However, our "stupid and ignorant" government does it every second of the day. But why not? they don't have to pay their debts. WE DO!!!
It's equivilent to stealing your neighbors check book and credits cards and draining the accounts. When you are done with one neighbor, then steal from another neighbor!
