I have the bible popup software implemented now. It's crude and I'll refine it. Right now to view the passage, simply click on the link. To stop viewing the passage, click on the link again. I'll add drag and drop, close box, and other functionality soon!
At any rate, this is a nice feature and it's so much easier to read the bible references when viewing a thread or blog or whatever!

YEAH!! IM SO HAPPY! I thought this was one of the neater projects you talked about in that section, I am so happy! This really is amazing Brandan makes it so much easier when people just post the reference but not whole passage, now I can easily read it! This is going to help me grow so much more too, since I can be lazy and not always look up everyones passages they post. (Hey Im not perfect...) So this is amazing! I have some new ideas for the Bible Popup.
1) Press a hotkey to bring up the bible lookup / bible search form.. You can see what this is like now by pressing alt-m (ctrl-m on macs) to bring up your instant messages.
2) At the bottom of each bible popup will be a quick passage lookup form that will display the results in the current popup.

Clicking on another translation or Gill commentary will reload the popup now instead of taking you to a new page. It just doesn't work right now when clicking on references within the commentary. That will take some extra work to fix. - Brandan

Clicking on the Bible Link at the top of the page will bring up a popup now. This will be great when posting to the forum, etc... Also you can lookup and search from within each bible popup.

OK, I've tried really hard to get accesskeys and javascript to work in Internet Explorer 6. I can't. I don't know if it works in IE7 or not as I don't have that browser to test with.
If you are using WINDOWS and FIREFOX, you can bring the bible popup and the messenger popup up at any time by pressing SHIFT-ALT-B and SHIFT-ALT-M.
If you are using WINDOWS and SAFARI for windows, you can bring up the popups by pressing ALT-B and ALT-M.
If you are using WINDOWS and GOOGLE CHROME, you can bring up the popups by pressing SHIFT-ALT-B and SHIFT-ALT-M.
If you are using FIREFOX or SAFARI on a MAC, you can bring up the popups by pressing CTRL-B and CTRL-M.
