    Celibacy and the Catholic Church

I believe it is only a matter of time until the Catholic Church adopts an end to celibacy position. This will have to happen for that institution to survive with all the dust being created from the sexual turmoil they find themselves in.

This IMO will make it all the more appealing for mainline protestant churches to get in bed with the whore and homogenize most of Western Christianity as well as the Eastern Orthodox crowd.

With Federal Vision, the Anglican/Episcopal's and the Lutherans, this could generate alliances where none previously existed.
Isaiah 45:7: I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Maybe they will take a page from the Mormon book & teach successful marriage in this life as a conditional prerequisite to everlasting sex in the hereafter!
Now see here how sleepy-headed all our opponents are, and how little it helps a man to rely on the ancient fathers, for all their repute down the course of the ages! Were they not all equally blind to, yes, and heeldess of, Paul's clearest and and plainest words?

Re: Celibacy and the Catholic Church

The Pope will not relinquish any of the essential marks of the Antichrist. However, he may be forced to relax his devilish doctrines somewhat (1 Tim 4:1-3) because of various scandals within the Roman Church and in order to extend his dominion over Protestants. Eastern Catholics and Protestant ministers who convert are already permitted wives. More exceptions are likely. However, a stigma will remain that will prevent any married priests from achieving high office within the popish church.

I don't think it will ever happen.
