There is a trend in our day by some who are teaching hypothetical universalism and attempting to affirm that this is the doctrine of limited atonement.

Piper agues for common grace and then destroys that argument and then sides for the argument that he just destroyed.

very true... It seems like he is coming close to grasping the implications of his theology... but maybe not?
I watched the piper video again and he said that the non-elect get another chance to be saved, because God did not kill them right after they sinned. What a very Arminian thing to say. This is just another example that not all people that say that they believe in the Sovereignty of God, predestination, election and the totally depravity of man actually do.
The one thing that he got right. He said he did not know how to answer the question.
