GLOBAL OUTREACH: OBSCURANTISM
WHAT IS THE GLOBAL PROBLEMS WITH A SIMILAR METHOD OF PREACHING?

How can I gain assurance of salvation?
http://www.greatcom.org/resources/toughquestions/tq14/tq14d.htm

Quoting the Lord Jesus, the Apostle John wrote, "Behold, I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." (Revelation 3:20) Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (the Bible calls this ‘repentance’), and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive all our sins (past, present and even future) and to make us the kind of people He wants us to be. However, just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Christ by faith as an act of the will.

Faith is not simply an act of will. It is above all a gift from God. It is true that it not only the mental agreement with facts of the Gospel. But the real decision will can only arise as a response to gift of grace, gift of perfect and complete sacrifice of Christ. If its adoption we can do something to add our works or effort of will with our salvation, at this moment salvation is over. This is not Chassidism or Faith Movement, where God puts Himself in dependence on the righteous. Decisional regeneration too often comes from the myth that the work of Christ is not enough for salvation, it must attach to the sovereign human will.

If you have sincerely asked Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your life, you have His promise in Revelation 3:20 that He will come in and be your friend so you can know Him personally. Would He mislead you? You have it on His authority, the trustworthiness of God Himself, and His Word that God has answered your prayer.
The Bible promises eternal life to all who receive Christ. Again, the Apostle John wrote, "And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:11-13)
Thank God often that Christ is in your life. Christ says in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you or forsake you." In the original Koinonia Greek language, that verse is more accurately translated, "I will never, no, not ever leave you or forsake you." It is a triple, emphatic negative. You can know based on His promises that Christ lives in you and that you have eternal life, from the very moment you invite Him in. He will not deceive you. He is totally, wonderfully good and trustworthy!

Do “global evangelists” believe in eternal security? If they felt that from the moment when man first prayed to Christ, he finds not only salvation but also the assurance and we can assured to this based on the words addressed the Israel / Church and not to the individual believer? As in this case the fact that Christians sin? How to be after a sin? Curse God and die (Job 2.9)? Any attempts to lead a Christian life on a “sink or swim” will eventually breaking off. If this missionary program comes from the fact that a Christian can be restored to grace after falling, then let the authors explain why they assured of people in the security of salvation at the outset. Why they think that assurance needed to begin the Christian life, not given if when people go through already its impotence in the struggle with sin, and the power of grace too. If the target unsaved men that need the decision to eradicate sin is to begin the Christian life, start it did not succeed. This is absurd – to oblige by law to ensure that gives grace only. “The law obliges to what was not given, grace gives something that requires” (Blaise Pascal)

A key to knowing you can have assurance of salvation is your obedience (1 John 2:3,4: "And by this … " Are you willing to submit to Christ’s Lordship in your life, and change in areas that God points out in His word and through His Spirit that are wrong? Are you willing to obey what God says regardless of your fears or the consequences? Moreover, the Apostle John wrote that the key ingredient to all of this of that our motivation should be love of God. (1 John 5:2,3) The summary question remains, "Will you trust Him to save you when He promised He would if you asked sincerely and choose to follow Him in obedience?"

Our obedience is not in itself grounds for assurance of faith. In fact, if we proceed from the myth that obedience is the measure of assurance, you can either fall into self-delusion, counting like Jesuits in XVII c. the ever-increasing successes and “spiritual growth”, or make sure you not a Christian. You can talk about the assurance based on grace and zeal, but not on results, otherwise we simple obtain the salvation by works. This contradicts the all previous. If a person is to learn first “guarantee” of salvation, and then to assured of faith by obedience, it will eventually be lost or something or else, and will manifest itself either extreme religious carelessness or misleading, desperate enthusiasm.
So, this missionary program despite its wide spread should be considered substandard and harmful. At the outset of her people can get something but if they follow it further they will inevitably despair and morally break down.
