1. Re-label the heresy so that it can't be recognized.
2. Deny that it ever existed in the midst of Christ-centered churches; it is truly impossible that any bible-believing 'evangelical' in his right mind would have ever accepted it. Only idiots could have believed such a doctrine.
3. Damn those on the 'outside' who believe it while ignoring and cuddling those on the inside who do.
4. Commit to living with it forever while denying that it exists (like the hopelessly addicted alcoholic), since it can no longer be named.
