I have acquired but not yet started it; waiting on my wife to finish. From what I have browsed it is pretty revealing and damning about how the darkest manifestation of the great apostasy, Islam, is capturing the sentiments and admiration of American politicians and citizens. Here is the future plan of Islam for Western nations:

1. Increased fearful intimidation through the commission of terrorist acts. Note that this was the purpose of 9-1-1 and why it has not been repeated; the objective was achieved. Since then we have tolerance or willful ignorance of radical Islam in all aspects of American society both low and high.

2. The beginnings of Sharia law through establishment of a two-tiered society. So we begin to have 'Christian free' zones governed by different laws than the rest of the country. This has already happened extensively in Europe and Canada and has started to happen in a few U.S. locations.

3. Increased heathen immorality in the non-Sharia portion of society achieved through implementation of major special rights for homosexuals, less restrictive laws on infanticide and euthanasia, destruction of the private economy through increased dependence on debt funded government, loose laws on all sorts of immoral behavior (drugs, prostitution, etc.).

4. As a result of #3, increased admiration of the 'god fearing' Sharia portion of society and conversions to it.

5. Ultimately, full Sharia law and Islamic fascism.

The above 5 I have gathered from other sources but I think this book also gets into some of it.

I would be interested in comments from those who have already read the book; I will add mine once I get into it.

What infuriates me is that the reaction to this, on the part of some Presbyterians, is THEONOMY instead of the GOSPEL. I explain: The antidote to Islamic ALLAH-CRACY, is not JEWISH/CHRISTIAN THEOCRACY! The antidote to ANY devilish activity and demonic rule here on the earth is THE GOSPEL! Remember what Paul says about PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS!

THE GOSPEL, the unceasing, the uncompromising, the loud and unabashed preaching of the Gospel, with its UNIQUE characteristic, called GRACE, UNMERITED FAVOR, where an offended God became man and died for the OFFENDER to REDEEM him form his offense, IS the solution and the antidote! "This is our victory that overcomes the world: OUR FAITH!

If Christians are afraid of the Islamic encroaching of our society they have one thing to do: GO BACK TO THE GOSPEL! The GOSPEL OF GRACE!

Amen! That will not stop the Islamic encroaching of our society, however, it will give us an unfettered hope of eternal life that cannot be shaken!

Most Reformed Theonomists that I have heard preach are more concerned with how to accomodate 'peace-loving' Islam (as well as Roman Catholics, 'liberal' Protestants, and Eastern Orthodox) in the grand law-centered government to come, not how to fight against Islamic idealogy.

The point of McCarthy is that both the 'left' and 'right' (an illusion) of our U.S. government and media have covered up hundreds of facts regarding the progressive acceptance of various principles of Sharia. I guess if his book is not relevant, no issue related to politics or the evil lies of government can be relevant. To accept that would make me a pacifist; whoa!

Luther's view of the two kingdoms (in contrast to the extremes of theonomy and pacifism) dominated his view of eschatology. He believed that Islam as the greatest manifestion of the apostasy prophesied by Paul was to play a much greater part in the final chapter of history than today's Protestants believe:

My personal conviction is that the U.S. has a very minimal shot at avoiding the 'encroachment of Islam' through gospel repentance by a 'few' (remember Sodom), I don't believe that Israel, the majority of European nations, many Latin American nations, or Canada has a chance though.

"Grand Jihad" is the stated goal of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is as radical of a Muslim organization as Al Queda. President Barack Obama, a closet Muslim (well, not so closet anymore--he has confessed the Shahada in public) recognized the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt today as a legitimate organization competing for the political ascendancy in that country.

He has similar goals for Libya, Lebanon, Syria, the Palestinian state surrounding Israel, a whole bunch of African countries, Europe, Canada, Latin America, and the United States of America.

Remember Khalidi and Odinga! Forget about Bill Ayers and Reverend Wright, that was a distraction just like Monica Lewinski was for the Clintons.

I REALLY think that the O'Bama (remember he is partly Irish, hence the apostrophe) rush in helping all these naively called "revolutions" in the Muslim world, which you mentioned, is a strategy of helping Muslims to take that which O'Bama considers THEIRS by right (just like he did with the auto industry when he gave it back to the unions breaking the constitutional and legal provisions of the bankruptcy laws). I have no love for the Coptic Christians because they are NESTORIAN by history (anyone can research it), but note the first thing that happened in Egypt: since there was no one else to bug, the Muslims who took over for Mubarak had to go and destroy the Coptic Churches and kill their faithful; IF THAT IS NOT a symbol of what they intend to do with every "non-Muslim" a.k.a. "christian" in the middle east, then I must be reading the "wrong" history book. All of that with the acquiescence of our most merciful, the compassionate Barack Hussein O'Bama, the semi-christian-semi-muslim-semi-american-wholly-socialist president!

Now, in a light note: The Muslim thread should be moved out of the CHURCHIANITY rubric to a new one called MOSQUIANITY...

I get your drift; as someone very wise said, Islam is not a religon, it's a political party! Allah as the great deceiver is the invention of god in the image of politicians who want to subdue the world with their own power and arrogance; in actual fact their only god is themselves and they hope to reign one day in the image of the demon named Allah in absolute sovereignty forever and ever.

By the way, I was really thrilled when Herman Cain today introduced the platform of NO SHARIA COURTS in the US, EVER! This is one area where State Law cannot trump the US Constitution. Why aren't others stepping up to the plate?

Excellent question! He is the only one who is taking up this issue and I am very glad because Islam is growing by leaps and bounds in the black community and Cain is, of course, black and a denial of Islam from him is a very important one. The others should join, but apparently they think that the issues that the USA faces today is separated from the global satanic scheme where Islam is a major part.

There is so much material on the growing movement toward accomodating Islamic law in Western countries that I can't write of it in a short post. To find material, try an internet search of "sharia law" + "united states" or substitute the u.s. for any other country in the world. The bottom line is, most people have their heads buried in the sand denying how much this has progressed already in the world.
