A Presbyterian minister from Brazil, quite a good servant and a Gospel adherent, demonstrated his concern with what is happening in Brazil right now where the Presbies are also admitting gays in their church membership and approving of gay marriage and even recommending preachers not to refuse to marry them. I wrote him an the other ministers present at the discussion a note stating that the Presbies have been so preoccupied in the maintenance of certain aspects of the WFC, such as "non-cessassionism" (rightfully so, by the way), that they forgot to look at the real issues, which to me is their abandonment of the dear doctrines of the Gospel. I mentioned to them as the devil has lit a few small fires and the Presbies with all their resources, big and small, like a person who is using a war tank to kill a fly, went about trying to quench these small fires. At the same time, the devil was lighting big ones... At the behest of God Himself, the devil is now teaching the Presbies what is REALLY important. May God in His Sovereign Will and design cause the Presbies who are Gospel believing, realize that the gay issue is a wakeup call for them to reexamine certain positions taken as of late, such as the introduction acceptance and dissemination of Amyraudian teaching, F.V. and N.P.P., and the vapid and splenetic way they treat anyone who refuses to adhere to their Gospel deviations.Originally Posted by Highlyfavored
The real fire the Presbies have to douse before they even try to control the other ones, such as the gay issue, is their own departure from the Gospel. Whenever a discussion or topic arises that invloves an organized, government approved 501c3 denomination or church, one must first realize that the particular church's first priority is their own self exsistence. No matter the cost. Even if it involves throwing out Christ and the Gospel, in which most have done.
There is control and big money at stake for these groups and they will not relinquish this corrupt power.
Their ordained ministers that are brainwahsed through their seminaries, are only the pawns on the chess board of religion. They like the SS Nazis will defend and protect their church at all cost. Right or Wrong! That's what blind loyalty is all about.
So having "Gays" in the clergy or church membership rolls does not suprise me one bit.
This has been going on for centuries. The only difference now is that today it more publicized.
The faggots, womanizers, and pedophiles, have easy pickins in the church of today because the stupid blind sheep have been duped into submission. Ichabod!

I only look at one issue! The Gospel!!
As I've said before, I'll say again. If a church or group does not have and teach the true Gospel. They are nothing more than dens of Satan.
It's as simple as black and white.
They are no better than all other false religions.
My prayer is that God would remove the elect from these institutions quickly.

Well stated everyone. What the presbyterians and lutherans do in their synagogues really does not concern me. As Nicholas has stated, what these groups teach is of paramount importance. If a group is not teaching the Gospel of an imputed righteousness based on the work of Christ alone, then whatever other doctrines they teach or practices they engage in are of no importance to me. In fact, if a group is not teaching the Gospel, we should not be surprised to see God turn them over to more and more sinful practices as He hardens their hearts.
