The Fall of Satan a Heathen Doctrine Adopted by Churchianity

I was conversing this weekend with Dr. Edwin Vrell; he informed me of research he was currently pursuing that will document the false doctrine of the supposed 'fall' of Satan from a state of perfect holiness--from its origin to the continued manifestation of it in history: first in the heathen religions from Nimrod on, then in Talmudic Judaism who adopted it from pagan Greek philosophy, then in apostate churchianity which also adopted it from the same. In starting this thread, I just wanted to give those who believe this teaching is "manna from heaven", i.e., the bread that comes only from God in revelation--a chance to refute such hated research in advance!
Now see here how sleepy-headed all our opponents are, and how little it helps a man to rely on the ancient fathers, for all their repute down the course of the ages! Were they not all equally blind to, yes, and heeldess of, Paul's clearest and and plainest words?

    --Martin Luther

A summary of the doctrine as believed in Talmudic Judaism:

I wish the footnote references linked to the sources or at least their identity!

Thanks Bob, will Ed be mailing his research? - Brandan
Ditch the Garbage! - Too many people are proud of their humility - I, on the other hand, am not humble - and am proud of it!

"Luther's New Testament was so much multiplied and spread by printers that even tailors and shoemakers, yea, even women and ignorant persons who had accepted this new Lutheran gospel, and could read a little German, studied it with the greatest avidity as the fountain of all truth. Some committed it to memory, and carried it about in their bosom. In a few months such people deemed themselves so learned that they were not ashamed to dispute about faith and the gospel not only with Catholic laymen, but even with priests and monks and doctors of divinity." - A complaint by German humanist Johann Cochlaeus.

Yes, I intend to post it here once complete. In the meantime, he gave me two books to try and locate: "Antichrist" by Bernard McGinn and "The Devil" by Jeffrey Burton Russell. The books are not written by gospel believers but are historical documentation of how these doctrines originated and progressed. The research is by no means limited to these though.
