Now see here how sleepy-headed all our opponents are, and how little it helps a man to rely on the ancient fathers, for all their repute down the course of the ages! Were they not all equally blind to, yes, and heeldess of, Paul's clearest and and plainest words?

"Luther's New Testament was so much multiplied and spread by printers that even tailors and shoemakers, yea, even women and ignorant persons who had accepted this new Lutheran gospel, and could read a little German, studied it with the greatest avidity as the fountain of all truth. Some committed it to memory, and carried it about in their bosom. In a few months such people deemed themselves so learned that they were not ashamed to dispute about faith and the gospel not only with Catholic laymen, but even with priests and monks and doctors of divinity." - A complaint by German humanist Johann Cochlaeus.

I really like what you said there it is very true, Ive held to this since I probably started coming here and learning about Gods sovereignty and Grace, that whomever He calls as His sheep, His children is always that way and has nothing to do with us. We are either in His family or we are not. Ive always believed if someones eyes were opened to this realization by God, no matter their hardship, feeling alone, or struggling with why the world wouldnt accept them.. they still were/are His children. We cannot judge a brethren to be great, least, average, etc. because in Gods eyes they are His children and we have something to offer everyone, and God works in us in different ways, He teaches us different things, some go through hard times some through easy. Everyone experiences this life and Christ differently. BUt what we all have in common is knowing that it was Christ who died for us, it was God that saved us and opened our eyes to belief in Him, who found us when we were lost wandering in the wilderness.
I think its always best we treat others with respect and love, and that we love each other as our brother or sister in the Lord. We are one big family, and Ive come to be very thankful for everyone. And I also ask forgiveness because I know I have not been a good sister in being there for my family. But I do still pray and you are in my thoughts, I know that God is taking care of you, that all things work together for your good.
Thanks Robert.

Thank you so much Mary! You are always in my thoughts and prayers; I trust that the Lord is taking care of you abundantly as He does ever and always for all of His own precious sheep. --Robert
