I'm not in the least bit shocked. These things are to be expected from this beastly whore who piously claims to be the Body of Christ. However Rome's children fair no better.
Protest-Ants, Evangelicals, Charis-maniacs, and Pentecostals have their own similar forms of wickedness and perversion.
About a year or so ago, a reformed Presbyterian pastor near me, was arrested for having child porn on his computer.
My ex- next door neighbor was a LCMS minister. His wife came over one Sunday morning asking me to pick up her husband off the floor. He was a drunk and vomited all over himself. I tried to sober him up in time so he could perform his Sunday liturgy. He was a wife beater, and I heard him every day holler and scream at his wife with the most foul cursing words imaginable. A woman from his parish complained to his bishop that he constantly groped her in the church building. This man was the most evil man I have ever met.
My wife and I called the police on him for his cruelty to his wife. County and State agencies finally got involved to help this poor woman. She's dead now.

...And this does not surprise me either! When the cornerstone of your theology is that "you need a friend, not a savior" and where "sin" becomes an unspoken word, this is bound to happen!

In Alabama a good number of church buildings that I know were transformed in "poor men's casinos" with the slot machines carrying bingo software in them. When someone tells me that in a state of "shock and awe" (thinking perhaps that I don't know - it is part of the legal aspect of my business), I tell them to their even blunter shock and awe: GREAT! At least now we don't have any disguises anymore: the devil decided to undress and strip himself of his disguises.
Seriously, I don't know which is worse: A building where Black Liberation theology was preached, where the support of politicians such as Obama was encouraged, where emotions run high and every sense of godly reverence was lost, or plain BINGO! When people ask me, "do you think that is okay?" I answer BINGO!
