Are the saints Children already saved?

    Dear Brethren

Some Christians I know believe that the saints Children are automatically saved.

Can any one shed some light on this with out quoting Paul’s statements, as at this time I do not believe the letters to be scripture, just inspired in places.

I believe in forgiveness for all sins except blaspheming the Holy Spirit i.e. not believing in Jesus death for the pardon of sins. So I cannot see how God’s Children’s Children would be saved.

    Wendo,

There apparantly are a few people who believe that believers' children are automatically saved. The Covenant Theology view is that children of believers are all elect, and will eventually believe, but that no one is saved apart from faith. The New Covenant Theology view is that children of believers may or may not be elect; God's election is sovereign and rules out any possibility of the Covenant Theology position on the matter.

I noticed that you do not accept the epistles as inspired; may I ask why not? Did you know that Peter spoke of Paul's letters as though he considered them to be inspired? (2 Peter 3:15-16). Do some of the things in the epistles seem to you to contradict the Old Testament or the Gospels?

    Saints Children

There is mention of it somehwhere in scripture, I will note it next time I run into it.

BUT I am a mom. I am saved ,convicted, see my picture at left? I am filled with a rushing wind not kidding, the grace of God dwelleth here. BUT I still lose it sometimes when she (my daughter) gets going I must say. But maybe that's my purpose to head her off from trouble hard. This kid is only seven and disobedient to the max. BUT she is also faithful to the max. she believes and hard. You'll never break this kids' faith I am real sure. And at her age, what she has she will never forget.

I do pray there is a plan because, gosh wouldn't the siants be crying over their children. I know I would. I do think there is a plan. You know, the disobedience has it's good points when you take a kid like this, full of faith and try to teach her otherwise. Just like she wants that cdrom or whatever, she'll stomp her feet, she'll scream until you get it, JESUS IS LORD.

So I humble myself and bear with her. Her teachers at school (she's in a public school), they do have a problem with this behavior (she gets in a lot of trouble at school for not listening) but i see this side which they don't so i honestly only do so much to keep it in check. I love the faith in her. I want her to be yes, always that obstinate about it.

it's in the new testment also, something about 'thee be saved and thy household because of thee'.... something like that. King James version.
